It's better if you have own transportation to live in this area. However, If you don't have one, you can take public bus to Asia Jaya LRT Station, where is pretty near to BAC PJ Campus.
However, unfortunately Section 17 also famous with crime activities especially burglary case.

To be specific, rent a room near to Taman Paramout LRT Station, so you could take LRT to BAC Campus.
Plus, The best part of living in this area is you have easy access to a lot of famous local food like Bumbung Nasi Lemak, O & S Asam Laksa, Prawn Mee and many more.

However, the residential area appears old and less developed, and some area are pretty dark and scary at night time.
